Catherine Zhang is an International Client Advisor and Portfolio Manager at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. Catherine services clients globally and focuses on developing comprehensive and ongoing investment plans integrating clients’ cross-border tax and estate strategies. Catherine spent 9 years in Investment Banking and Fixed Income Trading at Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s headquarters in New York, prior to her joining Morgan Stanley in 2016.
Catherine has an MBA from NYU – Stern School of Business, a Master’s degree in Operations Research from University of Florida, and a master’s and an undergraduate degree in Physics from Northwest University in China. Catherine is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS™), Certified Equity Professional (CEP®), and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®).
Catherine was a ranked Wall Street analyst, received award as The Top 50 Women Leaders of Georgia for 2022 by Women We Admire, and was elected Select Global Women in Tech Mentor in 2022 (a program by U.S. Department of Commerce). She has taken several board or leadership roles in nonprofit professional and community organizations, including Northeast Women in Public Finance, Technology Association of Georgia International Business, Ascend Southeast, and Mont Jade Science & Technology Association Southeast.
