Gene has supported the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (NY) since 1993, he is the Founder and Executive Director of the Hong Kong Association of Atlanta, and Founder and Chairman for the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival which began in 1994. Gene is a retired Army officer who served with both Special forces and Ranger units. He is a 3-time Ironman Hawaii Finisher and has run dozens of marathons. Gene is married to Christina Pak and they have two daughters, Kelly (a Notre Dame grad) and Kathleen who is currently a Junior at Notre Dame. Gene has two sons from a prior marriage, Sean who is married with 3 children living in Sapporo, Japan, and Ryan who also has three children and lives in Fairhope, Alabama.
In his spare time now Gene is writing a book(s). Might be too long for a single book.
